Kalaoma was one of the biggest and most successful projects our team worked on a large-scale e-commerce website offering everything from bicycles to high-end gaming laptops. The site’s wide product range and high traffic required constant optimization, teamwork, and careful attention to performance.
My role in this project included editing and extending the theme, organizing the homepage layout, and collaborating with teammates on building custom plugins for product management in the admin panel. I also provided ongoing technical support to ensure everything ran smoothly and efficiently.
Working on Kalaoma was both challenging and rewarding. It demanded precision, creativity, and communication especially when integrating new features without breaking the store’s existing functionality. Seeing the site attract a growing customer base and scale successfully was a great validation of all our efforts.
This project helped me improve my teamwork and plugin development skills while reinforcing one key principle: the best online stores aren’t just functional they’re fast, consistent, and visually engaging.
